Every now and again I surf the net looking for sites to advertise The Prestatyn Classic Car Show. Classic Chatter is one such site I would recommend if you have a little time on your hands and you are cruising the net. Very friendly people with events pages, advice pages and photos of some of their members cars.
On a different note this photo was taken a couple of years ago

by my brother= in law Andy. The Tour of Britain visited one of our nearby manor houses "Mostyn Hall" and they certainly threw the cars around.

Many thanks to Gordon for volunteering his Ferrari 348 Spider for the MND fundraising. We now have 20 cars to choose from.

We had a spectacular day with a great spread of interesting cars and raised £700 for MND

We are celebrating our twelth year in the running of the Prestatyn Classic Car Show and hope that you can come along and join us.

This year we are trying something special, I have a close relative who is suffering from Motor Neurone Disease and we are trying to raise funds to fight this terrible disease.

We are hoping to set up a "Ride with me - to beat MND" stand where members of the public get the chance of a short ride in a Classic Car in exchange for a donation to MND.

We will of course need Classic Cars owners to volunteer their cars to be on standby should members of the public want to ride in them. Cars would need to be available for about an hour at some point between 11 and 2. Normal insurance will cover the situation as you are not taking fare paying passengers but it will cost you the price of any petrol that you use.

This idea has come from a Classic Car owner who took advantage of a similar scheme at this years Classic Car Show in Birmingham. Where she took a ride in a Morgan for a £20 donation.

I do hope that you can help as both my wife and sister in law have so far managed to raise over £7000 towards this Charity.

Thanks to all who attended, this years show was a record breaker thanks to glorious weather over the whole weekend. We had an entry of over 300 vehicles and attracted thousands of spectators.

May 24th / 25th 2009

We so far have 300 vehicles entered with over 100 taking part in our Classic Car Runs. There is a choice of a 75 mile run or a longer at 125 mile. Both start from the County Hall in Mold between 9 and 10.30 a.m. on Sunday the 24 May 2009. They use some of the most picturesque and scenic routes through North Wales, taking in part of the Snowdonia National Park and many of our historic towns and castles. The Finish is at our sponsors hotel, The Beaches, in Prestatyn at 3.45 p.m.
Mondays Static Show has cars from the early 1900's through to modern supercars. The day starts with the arrival of cars at 9 a.m. and with stalls,children's entertainment and refreshments on the Edwardian Vicarage lawn is sure to be a day full of nostalgia.

Both days are free to enter and the Static Show is also free to all visitors

The Classic Car Run 2008

The Sundays Classic Car Run was a great success with 80 cars entered, most completed the 125 mile route without mishap. The picture shows one of our jolly entries on the closed road section, around the Great Orme in Llandudno.

Prestatyn Classic Car Show 25th-26th May 2008

Sunday is a 75 mile classic car run around North Wales. Monday is a static show attracting over 200 classic vehicles. Refreshments are available in the vicarage gardens, along with stalls, a live jazz band and children's entertainment.

This is the type of car we love a SS Jaguar which attended our show in 2005. Although this car wowed the public, they seem to spend more time around the cars that they used to own. Bringing back memories and anicdotes.
