Sundays Classic Car Run

We were joined by 70 cars for this tears Prestatyn Classic Car Show "Run" organised by Dave and Rod the route was probible the longest we have done. starting from Prestatyn Nova Beach carpark the cars set off past our sponsors hotel The Beaches, on through some of our historic castle towns of Rhuddlan and Denbigh where they were greated by waving crowds, then over the Denbigh moors for a lunch halt at GYG. Onward then taking in Bala, Llangollen and the infamous horseshoe pass then through the pretty town of Ruthin finishing back in the centre of Prestatyn. Filmed by Stephen Morris Photography

The Beaches Hotel sponsored - Sundays Classic Car Run

Starting in the home town of Prestatyn for the first time in its 20 year history, we were blessed with warm sunny weather as 85 classic Cars left the town for a 95 mile route before finishing back in Prestatyn at 3:30

Raising money for Cancer Charities

Dr Merik Synek drove his 1960 Skoda Octavia all the way from the South Coast of England to attend this years Classic Car Show in Prestatyn. On the way he was raising money for young persons cancer charity, Trekstock. A round trip of 600 miles and he is taking something else home with him, this years Car of the Show Trophy. Good Luck Merik with all your endevours.

2023 Classic Car Run

This year we had 100 cars leaving County Hall, Mold, with the choice of two routes, both with a lunch halt in Corwen and finishing at our sponsors, "The Beaches Hotel" here in Prestatyn. Commemerative Rally Plaques were available at the start anmd i am pleased to say that we raised £670 which will be donated to our chosen charity which is St Ketigerns Hospice. Car of the Show 2022

The judges had no trouble in picking this years car of the show, it was a unanimous decision that Colin Lamberts 1929 Vauxhall won both its class in the Pre War section but also scooped "Car of the Show" (photos Hayley Rawlins)

The weather was nothing like the usual Bank Holiday that we have come to expect, we had a bright and warm day which brought out both the classic cars and the crowds to view them. Probably the best attended show ever. Here are just a few of the many hundreds of cars entered
